Serbian Armed Forces’ Member Best at Military Competition in USA

Lance Corporal Nikola Ivković, a member of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade, won the Best Warrior Competition in the soldier category, organized by the Ohio National Guard at the Camp James A. Garfield in the United States of America last week.
Soldiers and NCOs of the Ohio National Guard, Hungarian Defense Forces and Serbian Armed Forces participated in this competition; in addition to the first and fourth places in the soldier category, the Serbian competitors also took the fifth and eighth ones in the NCO category.
The participants competed in disciplines that were a test of physical and mental abilities, military knowledge and skills, including shooting under stress and other firing missions, loaded march and swimming, guiding artillery fire and providing first aid.
By their successful performance at the competition, members of the Serbian Armed Forces have shown this time as well that they possess highest military virtues, that they are top professionals, dedicated, persistent and disciplined while implementing the tasks.
This has been the third participation of the SAF members in the Best Warrior Competition in the USA. They scored excellent results last two times as well.
This is just one of the numerous activities of the Serbian Armed Forces and Ohio National Guard within the framework of the State Partnership Program, aiming to raise operational capabilities of the armed forces, strengthen mutual confidence and develop overall relations between Serbia and the USA.
