Final Preparations for Flag 2024 Display of Serbian Armed Forces’ Capabilities

Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Gen. Milan Mojsilović attended today the final preparations for the display of the Serbian Armed Forces’ capabilities - Flag 2024, which is to be held on Friday, September 20, at the military airport “Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović” in Batajnica.
Minister Gašić expressed his satisfaction with what he had seen and commended the members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces involved in the preparations. He invited citizens to visit the Batajnica military airport on Friday, September 20, and added that they would be able to see a lot of weapons and military equipment, as well as the strength of our military, “which is getting increasingly stronger for the benefit of all citizens of our country”.
More than 6,000 members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, 2,500 weapons and pieces of military equipment and more than 50 aircraft will be involved in the capabilities display this Friday.
Visitors will also be able to watch an air show, a demonstration of Special Forces’ and Air Force and Air Defence’s capabilities, as well as a march-past conducted by the Serbian Armed Forces units.
The gates of the military airport will open at 9:30 a.m. and all visitors will be able to see the display of modern weapons and military equipment, as well as the assets that are going through the development process, until 3 P.M. To enter “Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović” airport, visitors can use the main gates of the airport and the “Moma Stanojlović” Aviation Institute, as well as the airport entrance for visitors coming from the direction of Nova Pazova.
