Training with Armored Combat Vehicles “Lazar 3”

The Army infantry battalions’ professional members are undergoing their collective training with armored combat wheeled vehicles “Lazar 3”.
The training aims to maintain and enhance infantry officers’ and soldiers’ skills in using this modern armored vehicle in combat.
In line with the training curriculum, the crews use training grounds to practice tactical actions and procedures needed for an efficient execution of combat missions on Army operations and they prepare for tactical exercises and live firing, which will be another opportunity to examine practically the results of intensive training they go through throughout the year.
The armored combat wheeled vehicle “Lazar 3” has been part of SAF armament since 2019. Equipping SAF with this asset significantly increased the mobility, firepower and protection of infantry units on combat operations; its reliability and efficiency were also confirmed on numerous tactical exercises.
