Visit to Serbian Armed Forces’ Members in Ground Safety Zone

On the second day of Christmas, Minister of Defense Bratislav Gašić visited members of the Serbian Armed Forces at the Merdare Base in the Ground Safety Zone.
On that occasion, Commander of the Base Lieutenant Sava Stanković Bogatinović briefed the Minister of Defense on the assigned tasks in the field of responsibility and organization of life and work at this base.
With greetings for the most joyous Christian holiday, in a conversation with the Serbian Armed Forces’ members, the Minister of Defense made sure that the tasks of securing the administrative line and controlling the Ground Safety Zone were being carried out responsibly and successfully, and he pointed out that thanks to their work results, perseverance and dedication to the military profession, they had deserved fully the trust that citizens of our country have in them.
In addition, he has pointed out that military profession entails great responsibility, as well as the honor and pride that our ancestors bequeathed to us.
Today’s visit to the Merdare Base was attended by Army Commander Lt. General Milosav Simović, Head of the Operations Directorate (J-3) of the General Staff Major General Gordan Pavlović and Commander of the 3rd Army Brigade Colonel Vladan Milosavljević.
