Display of Weapons and Capabilities of Some SAF Units in Niš

A display of weapons, military equipment and capabilities of some Serbian Armed Forces’ units has been held at the “Sergeant-Pilot Mihajlo Petrović” Military Airfield in Niš today.
The display has been attended by Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces and President of the Republic Aleksandar Vučić, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Minister of Defense Miloš Vučević, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović, ministers in the Government of the Republic of Serbia and delegation of Azerbaijan.
On that occasion, President Vučić and President Aliyev were shown modern weapons and military equipment, with special reference to the products of the domestic defense industry, and part of SAF Special Force’ capabilities.
Artillery-missile systems, unmanned platforms in the Air Force and Army components, a fire control system and different ordnance were presented.
In a dynamic display, members of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade and 63rd Parachute Brigade, supported by Air Force and Air Defense helicopter units, demonstrated horizontal and vertical maneuvering, operating in an urban environment, using unmanned platforms for supply, casualty extraction and overcoming rough terrain, and part of training that SAF Special Force’ members undergo.
