Visit by The Adjutant General Ohio National Guard

Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović has met The Adjutant General Ohio National Guard Major General John Harris today, who is on an official visit to the Republic of Serbia.
The discussion at the meeting covered the modalities of future cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and Ohio National Guard, as well as the current security situation in the region and the world.
The conversation was a good opportunity to express satisfaction with the scope of cooperation so far, with the assessment that joint activities, implemented within the State Partnership Program of Serbia and Ohio, represent an important and extremely successful segment of bilateral military cooperation between Serbia and the USA and the overall relations between our two countries.
The most important fields in terms of their significance and scope are the project of developing capabilities for participation in multinational operations, training, cooperation in the field of helicopter operations, flight safety and cyber security, professional development of officers and NCOs, development of NCO Corps and participation in the Humanitarian Assistance Projects.
General Mojsilović has introduced the interlocutor with the difficult conditions in which Serbian people live in Kosovo and Metohija, pointing out that the unilateral and provocative moves by the provisional institutions of self-government in Priština pose a threat to regional peace and security.
During the day, General Harris has met with Minister of Defense Bratislav Gašić, had a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while his reception by Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces and President of the Republic Aleksandar Vučić is planned for tomorrow.
Tomorrow, at the invitation of General Mojsilović, The Adjutant General Ohio National Guard will attend the Flag 2024 demonstration of capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces at the Military Airfield Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović in Batajnica, while, on Saturday, he will participate in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Halyard Mission.
