Annual Analysis of Condition, Operational and Functional Capabilities of SAF

The presentation of results of the regular annual analysis of the condition, operational and functional capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces in 2021 was held today at the Guard House in Topčider in the presence of the SAF Supreme Commander and President of the Republic, Aleksandar Vučić.
The presentation was chaired by the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović.
The annual analysis reviewed and assessed the condition and capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces in the previous year, the capabilities of units to perform assigned tasks and the security situation in the country and the surrounding area, needs were expressed and measures proposed for further improving SAF operational and functional capabilities in line with national and defense interests defined by the National Security Strategy and the Republic of Serbia’s Defence Strategy.
It was concluded that the security situation is stable and that in 2021, the Serbian Armed Forces responded to its constitutional role in the best possible way, completed all set tasks and showed that it is capable of protecting the state and citizens. Operational and functional capabilities, equipment of units, training system, morale and financial position of SAF members have been significantly improved.
At the presentation, gratitude for unreserved support and contribution to the overall strengthening of the Serbian Armed Forces was expressed to the high state officials, led by the SAF Supreme Commander and the President of the Republic Aleksandar Vučić.
