Minister of Defence Extends Congratulations on Serbia’s Statehood Day

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, sent a congratulatory message to all members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces on Serbia’s Statehood Day – Sretenje. The message reads as follows:
“I extend my congratulations to all members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces on the 15 February, the Statehood Day of Serbia – Sretenje.
Cherishing the traditional values of the military and the state, we are celebrating the anniversary of Serbia’s statehood in memory of one of the most modern and liberal constitutions in Europe which laid the foundation of modern Serbia.
This day of special importance in our history obliges us to continue working dedicatedly on strengthening our state. I am proud of the investment, equipment provision and improvement of your standard of living, which the state will continue with in the coming period, because without strong Serbian Armed Forces, there is no strong Serbia.
I extend my sincere congratulations to you, hoping that you will continue being good, brave and hard-working people who love their homeland dearly and bulwark Serbia against all evil.
