This week, members of the Armed Forces of Montenegro are undergoing specialist live agent training at the Serbian Armed Forces’ CBRN Training Center in Kruševac.
This is the first training of this kind for soldiers from Armed Forces of Montenegro in our center. It is conducted by certified instructors from the Serbian Armed Forces, the goal being to improve knowledge about live agents and protective measures, as well as to provide members of the Armed Forces of Montenegro CBRN unit with practical training needed to work with these poisonous substances.
The five-day training activity takes place in specialized laboratories and at the “Ravnjak” training ground, including theoretical contents from this field and CBRN patrols’ practicing reconnaissance of contaminated soil and facilities, detection and chemical decontamination of weapons and equipment, and providing medical assistance in case of contact with live agents.
Live agent training of members of the Armed Forces of Montenegro, implemented on the basis of the bilateral military cooperation plan for this year, contributes to strengthening mutual confidence and overall military-to-military relations with our southern neighbor.
