Visit to Serbian Armed Forces’ Guard

Deputy Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović has visited the Serbian Armed Forces’ Guard units at the “Dedinje” Barracks in Belgrade today.
Accompanied by Guard Deputy Commander Colonel Vladimir Vukajlović, he inspected the state of affairs and implementation of the most important tasks in this unit of the Serbian Armed Forces, which is also in charge of securing vital facilities of the defence system, in addition to rendering military honors, for which it is publically known.
During the tour, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff had the opportunity to see how competent the Guard members were in carrying out intended tasks and visit the displayed assets, weapons and equipment. He was also shown the old-style luxury vehicles that had been used to transport numerous world statesmen, kept in this SAF unit.
