Promenade concert in Novi Sad

On the occasion of celebrating the Day of the Serbian Armed Forces, Nis Military Band today in Novi Sad held promenade concert along the famous promenade of Novi Sad, Danube and Zmaj Jovina Street. Many citizens of Novi Sad, drawn to the streets by the nice weather followed with enthusiasm and unabashed sympathy the perform ance of the military orchestra consisting of twenty experienced musicians under the baton of Captain Dejan Djordjevic.

In some forty minutes, on the most famous streets of the city, tunes of the most famous Serbian marches took turns such as "Royal Guard", "Alexander I", "March of the Guards", "My homeland", "Field Marshal Stepa", indispensable "March on the Drina" and others. The performance of each track was followed by applause of the citizens, and some compositions were played on the encore.
