Military Holidays Marked

Day of the Mixed Artillery Brigade, Day of the Artillery and Day of the Military Police have been officially marked at the commands and units of the Serbian Armed Forces.
During the military ceremonies, congratulations were read on the occasion of the holidays, results of the work of the year behind us were summarized, and recognitions and awards were presented to the most distinguished individuals.
Looking back on the achieved results, it has been pointed out that members of the artillery and military police units successfully implemented all assigned tasks, that the equipping with modern weapons and military equipment continued and that individual and collective training was improved.
Artillery Day and Mixed Artillery Brigade Day are celebrated on 14 September in memory of the day when, in 1918, the artillery preparation for the breakthrough of the Salonika Front began.
Military Police Day is celebrated on 14 September in memory of that date in 1955, when the military police was formed in the Yugoslav People’s Army.
