Bačka Brigade Exercise "Fire Obstacle 2022"

This week, the Bačka Brigade Command has executed Exercise "Fire Obstacle 2022" at the SAF Simulation Training Centre, Belgrade.
This is a computer-assisted simulation exercise aimed at enhancing the capabilities of this territorial brigade’s command for planning, organizing and executing a defence operation.
Multiday exercise activities involve training of officers and NCOs for efficient implementation of staff procedures in the process of making military decisions. Knowledge of the principles of employing the territorial forces on operations is also assessed, as well as interoperability with the Army, Air Force and Air Defence, cooperation with Gendarmery, Red Cross and other civilian actors.
Computer-assisted simulation exercises represent an important form of SAF commands’ practical training. Such exercises provide an opportunity for staff officers and commands to improve their skills in planning and conducting combat operations, using the minimum amount of material resources.
