Visit to Dog Training Centre

Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović has visited the Dog Training Centre at the “Knjaz Mihailo” Barracks in Niš today.
Accompanied by Commander of the Centre, he observed the implementation of intended tasks and attended part of the training activities for handlers and Military Working Dogs, carried out in this Training Command unit for the requirements of the Serbian Armed Forces.
This has also been an opportunity to present the capabilities of the unit reached through acquiring new dogs of exceptional genetic potential to be bred and trained for anti-terrorist and anti-sabotage activities in special and MP units of the Serbian Armed Forces, as well as new accommodation facilities for people and for medical care of dogs.
Expressing his satisfaction with the expertise of professional members and quality of work at the Centre, as shown by numerous awards at local and international dog shows, General Mojsilović has pointed out that investments in the Centre will continue so that this unit maintains its regional status and reputation in the field of training, breeding and reproduction of dogs and training of veterinary staff.
Today’s tour has been attended by Head of the Logistics Directorate (J-4) of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Major General Srđan Petković, Head of the Office of the Chief of General Staff Colonel Slađan Hristov and Chief of Staff of the Training Command Colonel Milovan Vasić.
