Visit to Training Activity of Candidates for SAF Special Units

Today, together with his associates, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović visited the 2nd Training Center in Valjevo Garrison where candidates for admission to special units of the Serbian Armed Forces under “Project 5000” are currently undergoing initial training.
During the tour, he saw the situation in the garrison and this unit of the Training Command, implementation of ongoing tasks, accommodation facilities and conditions in which training of candidates for special units who did not perform military service with weapons is organized and carried out.
After attending one segment of training, General Mojsilović praised the work of instructors, whose task is to train candidates for a short period of time to perform basic military tasks so that they can access selective training for admission to the 72nd Special Operations Brigade and Military Police Detachment for Special Purposes “Cobras”.
The tour ended with a briefing for key personnel of the 2nd Training Center, during which main tasks and plans of the Serbian Armed Forces were discussed, as well as measures to enhance further operational and functional capabilities and improve the status and standards of SAF members.
During the tour of the 2nd Training Center, the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff was accompanied by Commander of the Training Command Major General Željko Petrović, Head of the Logistics Directorate (J-4) Major General Srđan Petković and Head of the Training and Doctrine Directorate (J-7) Brigadier General Muharem Fazlić.
