Marking the Day of Central Logistic Base

A military ceremony was held in Belgrade today on the occasion of the Day of the Central Logistic Base, which is commemorated on November 16, 1992, when the 608th rear base was formed, whose traditions are continued by this unit of the Serbian Armed Forces.
At the ceremony in the command of the Central Logistics Base, congratulations were read on the occasion of the holiday, key achievements in the development of the unit's capabilities were presented, as well as awards to the most outstanding individuals, and letters of thanks to the institutions with which good cooperation was achieved in the previous period.
In reviewing the results achieved in the year behind us, the modernization of assets and the improvement of the conditions for the preservation and maintenance of troop and non-troop reserves were particularly highlighted, which, along with the proven expertise and commitment of the professional component, contributed to the full implementation of the unit's mission and the successful implementation of tasks in logistical support of commands, units and institutions of the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces.
The ceremony program on the occasion of the holiday of the largest logistics unit of the Serbian Armed Forces was accompanied by the performances of the choir of students of the Military Grammar School and the drama section of the cadets from the Military Academy.
