Latest Class of Soldiers on Stationary Camp

In this period, soldiers performing military service since March 2025, assigned to basic training centers in Sombor, Valjevo and Leskovac, are doing stationary camp in field conditions at the training grounds of the Serbian Armed Forces.
Stationary camp is an important part of the first training phase, during which soldiers of all specialties gain practical experience in performing basic defensive and offensive combat tasks and become used to living and working in field conditions.
During their stay at the training grounds, the soldiers practice the tactics and procedures, including navigation, observation, camouflage and movement on the battlefield, as well as selection and creation of shelters for protecting themselves and undertaking action, and they execute firing using infantry weapons as stipulated in the program.
Although they have been in the army for a few weeks only, the young soldiers are showing exceptional commitment and high motivation to master all contents laid out in the training program, and many of them have already expressed their willingness to become professional soldiers of the Serbian Armed Forces.
When this training is over, the soldiers will undergo a proficiency check, followed by transfer to specialist training centers. There, they will continue to train and learn how to handle their branch / service-specific combat assets and military equipment.
