Decrees of Serbian Armed Forces Supreme Commander on Promotions and Appointments

The Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces and the President of the Republic Aleksandar Vučić issued decrees on promotions and appointments to new duties of officers of the Serbian Armed Forces.
The decrees were presented today by the Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević in the presence of the Serbian Armed Forces Chief of the General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović.
By decree of the President of the Republic, Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović was appointed Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff. The former Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Petar Cvetković, has had his professional military service terminated, with the right to a pension.
Brigadier General Tiosav Janković was promoted to the rank of Major General and appointed Chief of the Operations Directorate (J-3) of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff. Colonel Zoran Dragićević was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General and appointed to the position of the Army Command Chief of Staff. Colonel Novica Gogić was appointed commander of the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade.
Minister of Defense congratulated the members of the Serbian Armed Forces on their promotions and appointments and wished them to wear their new ranks with pride and be even more successful in their future work. He expressed his belief that the officers in their new duties will justify the trust shown and that, as before, they will perform all their tasks professionally, with motivation and sacrifice.
Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović was born on December 17, 1965 in Novi Pazar. He has been in professional military service since 1988. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1988, Command and Staff Training in 1998, General Staff Training in 2005, and Advanced Security and Defense Studies in 2016. He leaves for his new position as the chief of the Operations Directorate (J-3) of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff.
Major General Tiosav Janković was born on September 29, 1974 in Užice. He has been in professional military service since 1997. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1997, Command and Staff Training in 2008, General Staff Training in 2013, and Advanced Security and Defense Studies in 2017. He leaves for his new position as the commander of the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade.
Brigadier General Zoran Dragićević was born on August 13, 1969 in Loznica. He has been in professional military service since 1988. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1991, Command and Staff Training in 2000 and General Staff training in 2012. He is leaving the post of Commander of the Signal Brigade to take up his new duties.
Colonel Novica Gogić was born on April 13, 1975 in Užice. He has been in professional military service since 1997. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1997, Command and Staff Training in 2010 and General Staff Training in 2015. Until now, he was the deputy commander of the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade.
